Today’s project …..

One of my local regular customers contacted me this week asking if I could make her some table place mats to match a couple of mamgu and bampi cushions I made her a few weeks ago . She had just taken delivery of a fabulous new dining table so wanted to protect it and thought some place mats from vintage Welsh tapestry would be perfect 😍 . So today I made her 8 place mats , with a charcoal hopsack weave fabric on the back , with cotton webbing to bind the edges. They’ve turned out really beautiful and I’m now going to have to make myself some !
